A recipe looks simple on paper. In use, people hesitate, change bottles, lift the glass, and decide to make something differently. Engineering begins with those ordinary variations.

A measured quantity needs a stable reference. The instruction has to reach the user early enough to be useful. The physical object has to make the intended action understandable. Those are connected design problems.

Temperature, dilution, and texture also shape the drink. A correct quantity is one part of the result; stirring, shaking, ice, and finishing still matter.

The system does not need to pretend it understands everything. It needs to know its own role: provide a recipe, measure or dispense as designed, communicate the next action, and make the hand-off to the person clear.

Industrial design brings that logic into the object. Where does the glass sit? What is removed for washing? Where does the signal appear? A good experience is built at those boundaries.
